Welcome to the Sacred Hearts EM School Annual Report 2019-2020, a platform to communicate directly with all of you our respected guests, Rev. Fathers, sisters, well wishers, benefactors, parents, staff and students.

With delight I present this annual report which enumerates the labor of love activities and achievements of the school during the academic year 2019-2020.

Last year we celebrated the silver jubilee of our Sacred Hearts School. Recollecting the legendary of 25 years of grace this academic year started with new hope and enthusiasm with the enrollment of 850 students.

Academic Result:

I am so glad to announce that this year also our 10th batch students created history by securing excellent result. All the students passed with above 7.5 and 2 got 10/10 and more than 20 got above 9 points. Thanks to the hard work of our dedicated staff and vibrant co operation from our students and parents.

The academic journey 2019 -2020 of sacred Hearts School began with an inaugural ceremony on June 22nd Rev. Fr. Angelo Superior General and Delegate Fr. Antony were blessed the gathering by their gracious presence and valuable message to the staff and students. Fr. Maria Das as the assistant correspondent had taken charge on this special occasion. The school welcomed him with love and joy.

Staff –Students Development programs:

Professional on going learning of the staff is a key quality of teaching and learning .Before the new academic year commenced the entire staff had a days session on important of English language and a seminar on use of Tata Edge Class.

And the motivational and personality development classes were organized for the students in various occasions by Mr. Venugopal Reddy from Hyderabad.

Students academic performance are evaluated through 4 formative assessment and 2 summative exams. Other than this regular slip tests and other oral practices are given to them to improve and evaluate the class room learning.

Education for the growth of Inner sprit and Physic:

Daily Morning Prayer and assembly. And every 1st Friday’s mass for the whole school in the church are the several important and good practices we had at school. Each house prepares well for it with a specific theme with motivational thoughts / talks, skits , news etc..

For the physical fitness and good health this year we introduced Aerobics including Fencing and Karate. students participated state and national level competitions held in Maharastra Nasic, and Guntur and won awards and medals. Yoga Day and women’s day also celebrated in the school to improve the inner sprit.

Students Council:

The General School election conducted in a democratic manner with ballet voting aimed at creating a sense of responsibility to prepare the students a better civil life in the future. The election was followed by the investiture ceremony with Master Clement and Master Purushotham as SPL and DSPL and Girls representative Miss.Haddasa.

Along with the whole nation we celebrated Independence day in a befitting manner. Amarthalur S.I. Mr. P.S Suresh as the guest of honor received the salutation. And he reminded the duties and responsibilities of students as nation builders.

Teachers Day:

Teachers day was celebrated as a tribute to the teaching faculty. Students expressed their love affection and honor for the teachers through various of cultural programs and games. And they had arranged a sumptuous lunch for the teachers too.

Childrens Day:

The children’s day was celebrated by the teachers. They dedicated a cultural programme for the students followed by a sumptuous lunch and games.

Arts Day:

Our School opened the stage for inter house cultural competitions in the month of October. A lot of students showcased their talents on the day. And the same day we celebrated school Patron’s day St.Gaiethino Errico with great pride and honor.

Sports Fiesta :

We had our sports Day celebration in the month of December students actively participated the sports meet with real competitive sprit .This year our students had taken part in Zone level , district level and other sports competitions like Royal PE and became winners runners in Kabddi and Kho- Kho. And it brought some athletes too.

Christmas Celebration:

On 23rd December we had a small but very meaningful Christmas celebration. Students and teachers organized the day with varieties of programs including Christmas carol and messages.

In the month of February present 9th students had organized a farewell programme for the 10th students in a very meaningful and systematic way.

PTA:

Parents love and concern for their children paves the way for an active and generous PTA. The school arranged each class parent meeting after each assessment. This enabled the parents to know about their children and to build up a strong relationship.

Study Tour and field trips:

In order to enjoy the beauty nature and encourage the students to develop the attitude of sharing and caring the students of all the classes were taken for the field trip and educational tour to the places Hailand , Visakhapatnam and the park in Tenali.

Conclusion:

We express our sincere thanks to every one here. And to the teachers and other staff members for their commitment and dedicated service. We gratefully acknowledge our sincere and deep involvement of the parents and students in all our activities .I thank all our well wishers, associates. We take this opportunity to commit ourselves to do our best to serve this locality through quality education.
